House rules

Booking and payment

• A 40% deposit confirms the booking. It is non-refundable.
• The 60% balance is due 30 days before the arrival date.
• A refundable damage deposit of $500 is required for every stay. It is returned after inspection of the cottage, at the end of the stay.
• Rates shown are before taxes: 3.5% lodging tax, 5% GST, 9.975% QST.
• In July and August, rentals are weekly only — 7 nights.

Arrival and departure

• Check-in from 4 p.m. Check-out at noon.
• An earlier arrival or later departure is sometimes possible if the cottage isn't rented the day before or after. We confirm this about 24 hours in advance.
• The maximum occupancy listed for each cottage must be respected.

On the estate

• Smoking is not permitted inside the cottages. Cleaning fees apply if a smoke odour is detected.
• Candles are not permitted indoors.
• Outdoor fires are permitted from May 1 to November 1, in the designated area; they are not permitted the rest of the year.
• No fireworks.
• No tents on the grounds.
• No noise before 9 a.m. or after 9 p.m.
• Outdoor music is not permitted, nor is excessive noise (music, parties, shouting, etc.) — on penalty of expulsion. Outdoor radios are also not permitted, to preserve the quiet of the site.
• Snowmobiles and ATVs may only be used on site to access the marked trails.
• Please don't take the white towels, sheets, or blankets out of the cottage. Blue towels are provided for swimming and the spa.
• The play module is reserved for children aged 3 to 11, under adult supervision.
• A municipal bylaw prohibits bringing your own watercraft, including paddleboards: only watercraft provided by the owner are permitted. Canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and rowboats are available to rent on site.

Pets

• Pets must be declared at the time of booking.
• A fee of $15.00 per day, per animal, applies.
• Maximum two dogs per cottage.
• The animal must weigh less than 10 kg (22 lb). A heavier animal is only accepted with the owners' permission.
• Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times on the estate.
• Waste must be picked up immediately.
• Dogs that bark are not accepted.
• Pets are not permitted on the furniture — beds, sofas, and others.
• If an odour persists after the stay, additional cleaning fees are withheld from the damage deposit.
• Breaking any of these rules results in immediate cancellation of the rental agreement.

The spa

Open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Rinse off before entering. Long hair must be tied back. Smoking, eating, and drinking are not permitted. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
