In summer, you reach the island by rowboat (provided): the crossing, 36 metres long, takes just a few minutes. Parking awaits you on the mainland side, near the first dock; a second dock welcomes you on the island.
In winter, it's reached by an ice bridge cleared by tractor — 35 metres between the two shores. Parking is only 100 metres from the cottage, under a three-minute walk.
